Theme: ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATICS FACULTY – 70th!

DESCRIPTION
The contest is held to celebrate Electronics and Informatics 70th jubille.
PARTICIPATION: All students are eligible to participate in this contest from Electornics and informatics faculty.
DEFINITION
A cartoon is a humorous drawing. This may be a caricature, a parody of a faculty life, events of a funny situation. The cartoon may consist of one image or take the form of a short comic strip. No moving images allowed.
THEME:
Take a word or a few words from any context of faculty life and create a fun situation, or just congratulate the faculty on its anniversary.
ENTRIES
· Maximum 2-4 submissions/works per person, black and white or coloured.
· Cartoons must contain text related to the faculty, life, studies, students.
· Drawings should be made digitally with any computer program such as Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Illustrator or cartoon could be hand drawn/painted.
· Language: English. Each cartoon picture has to be described in a few words or a sentence.
· The works must be original. Mind the copyright law.
· Do not forget to write down your name, last name, University/Faculty, study programme and e-mail.
WHERE TO SEND MY COMICS:
The participant must send his/her cartoons to: i.griciene@eif.viko.lt no later than April 30, 2025.
JURY
We will publish the entries on Facebook and hold a vote there, with the 3 entries with the most Likes winning.
WHAT WILL BE ASSESSED?
Originality of content, artistic/technical execution, expression of ideas, relevance to the theme.
PRIZES
There are no losers. The whole college community will be able to enjoy your work publicly on the faculty’s FB and Instagram networks. The works will also be publicly displayed on the faculty’s stands. If you are one of the three most creative, you will win prizes of EIF attributes.
