Learning Aim:

to prepare Professional Bachelors of Electronics Engineering who will be able to maintain sophisticated electronics, telecommunications and computer equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot various electronics faults, design and create electronics and mechatronics systems functional nods and their systems, apply computer applications for the design of electronics and mechatronics system equipment and understand essential factors of business environment.

Acquired Skills:
graduates will be able to:

  • analyse analogue and digital circuits,
  • use electronic measurement equipment;
  • design, install, manufacture, maintain electronic and mechatronic systems and their equipment;
  • work with various applications programs,
  • communicate in English;
  • organize independent business.
Learning Outcomes:

  • analyse the work and performance disorder of different profiles of electronics equipment;
  • find and eliminate faults;
  • supervise and adjust electronics equipment in a qualified way;
  • analyse the work and performance disorder of computer equipment
  • implement computer hardware and software applying the newest technologies;
  • be able to select and set necessary equipment;
  • implement, assemble, adjust and measure parameters of electronics equipment;
  • select and compile the circuits of ordinary electronics devices and manage to simulate them on the basis of applications programs;
  • form and prepare the product design and basic documents;
  • work out economic basis of the project;
  • select technology process for the production of making ordinary products;
  • analyse functioning of electronics systems equipment;
  • assemble, adjust and measure parameters of electronics systems equipment;
  • form circuits for mechatronics systems (or modules);
  • prepare control programs;
  • assemble, adjust and assess present state of mechatronics systems equipment;
  • find and eliminate faults of mechatronics devices and systems;
  • communicate orally and in written in good Lithuanian and at least one of foreign languages;
  • be able professionally formulate and give sound arguments, taking into account market situation, social, scientific, and ethics aspects;
  • be able to work as a team member;
  • use legal and standard documents, computer programs;
  • be able to study on his/her own;
  • assess business environment;
  • prepare business plan;
  • organise enterprise (subdivision) activity.
Career Prospects:

graduates will be able to work in different state and private companies, enterprises, firms where electronic and mechatronic systems and their equipment are designed, manufactured, installed and maintained, to organize their own business.
