On September 19th, lecturer Dr. Warish Patel from The University of Parul in India, an international strategic partner of Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, visited the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics under the Erasmus+ mobility program and gave lectures to students. Lectures on the subject of Operation Systems given by Dr. Warish Patel to the students of the Software Development study program enriched the content of studies and it even more internationality. During his stay at the Faculty, Dr. Warish Patel met with Dean Dr. Romanas Tumasonis, Head of the Partnerships and Projects Department Vytautas Lauciūnas, Erasmus Coordinator Judita Milkevičiūtė and Head of the Technology Center, Head of the Student Scientific Society dr. Eugenijus Mačerauskas. During the discussion, the guest presented his AI-based R&D project for the monitoring of human vital functions, as well as the possibilities of further strengthening mutual cooperation and joint scientific activities were discussed.
In the autumn semester of 2022-2023, as many as 7 students from Parul University study at the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics – Software Development study program.
