27th of October, 2020 representatives of the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics dr. Loreta Savulionienė, Paulius Šakalys, Tomas Kasperavičius, Simonas Česnauskas, Mindaugas Burvys, Benediktas Breskis, and Bogdan Stankevič participated in the remote international conference „Digital Transformation: EU Trends, Solutions, and Tools” organized by VIKO partner Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. During the conference, researchers from Ukraine, Lithuania, Germany, Canada, Spain, Slovakia, and Sweden shared the results of ongoing research, projects and future tendentious on process automation, robotics, data processing, and security.

The joint Faculty’s team from Departments of Computer Engineering and Software Development presented the development of the project „Robot-humanoid“ which was established in the Robotics Lab and the ongoing activities on the topic: „Robot-humanoid project „Eifure ”. Technology interfaces and future perspectives”. In the second part of the presentation, the representatives organized an interactive assignment during which the conference participants controlled the Robot’s arm remotely.
