On 24th November International Student Contest “EIFtronic 2015” took place at the faculty. The contest “EIFtronic 2015”, dedicated to 60-year anniversary of the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics, gathered together 7 teams from Latvia and Lithuania higher education institutions: Kaunas University of Applied Engineering Sciences, Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences, Panevėžys College, Ventspils University College and Vilniaus kolegija/University of Applied Sciences. The participants had to take theoretical test composed of questions on Physics, Electronics, Analogue and Digital Devices, Signals and Circuits, Electronic Measurements. Later team members had to perform individual practical tasks. Both individual task winners and winning teams were awarded prizes of the sponsor UAB “Dielektrik”.
