This year the International Week at Vilniaus kolegija/University of Applied Sciences; which took place April 27 – 30, gathered together 50 guests from international partner higher education institutions.
Four guest lecturers: Sander Van Laar and Patrick de Beer from Fontys University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), Stan Lemmens from Artevelede University College in Ghent (Belgium) and Predrag Valožić from Polytechnic of Zagreb (Croatia) gave lectures at our faculty. Students of Software Engineering, Smart Device Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering study programmes had a great opportunity to participate in lectures and workshops on different topics: “Introduction to NoSQL/MongoDB”, “Agile/Testing”, “Graphical Design”, “Print & Beyond Print”, “Real Time DSP on the LPC 1768 Microcontroller”, “A/D & D/A, Harmonic Signal Generation” and “Digital Filter; Design and Implementation”.
The event was an opportunity not only to share experiences but also to discuss and work out ideas for further cooperation.
