E-MakersLAB and E-ProtoLAB: modern research laboratories VIKO EIF – Faculty of Electronics and Informatics👏🏻.
E-MakersLAB has been opened at the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics of VIKO – an electronics manufacturing laboratory for advanced development, testing and repair of electronic equipment. The laboratory is equipped with individual, electrostatically protected workstations, allowing you to work safely with sensitive components and ensuring the highest standards of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. Special ESD flooring ensures surface grounding and prevents the accumulation of static electricity.
E-ProtoLAB: electronics prototyping laboratory. A newly equipped laboratory equipped with professional Printed Circuit Board (PCB) structuring and manufacturing equipment, allowing you to perform all printed circuit board production cycles on site. It is planned to use two types of structuring machines – mechanical-laser and mechanical, designed for the formation of printed circuit boards and ensuring accurate geometry according to design requirements. The press with accessories allows for the production of up to 8-layer boards, and the manual prototype assembly system allows for the rapid assembly of small-scale and single-unit electronic modules. Additionally, the laboratory will use solder masks and silkscreen materials with their formation equipment, as well as electroplating equipment for the formation of copper layers.
