Learning Aim:

to prepare specialists who are able to apply information and communication technology for performance of electronic business, apply electronic marketing and evaluation means for development of electronic business, analyse and operate the information of electronic business market for use and perfection of electronic business models and have knowledge and skills for organisation and development of electronic business.

Acquired Skills:
graduates will be able to:

  • apply information technology tools for the implementation of electronic business;
  • apply electronic marketing and analysis tools for development of e-business;
  • analyse electronic business market information and use it for application and improvement of electronic business models.
Learning Outcomes:

  • select software for achieving business goals;
  • discover and determine requirements for software and design user interface;
  • apply programing and database management technology and evaluate its quality;
  • integrate e-business components into organization information system;
  • select and apply internet marketing tools regarding business needs;
  • organize and manage internet marketing campaigns and evaluate its effectiveness;
  • apply data analysis tools for evaluation of visitors activities and other business information;
  • apply methods of business environment analysis, independently and as member of team to plan; organize and manage e-business;
  • control and evaluate the quality of information technology services provided by internal departments and external companies;
  • apply office, teamwork and project management tools;
  • communicate in Lithuanian and foreign languages and work in multicultural environment;
  • identify, describe and apply e-business models;
  • evaluate and forecast the need of e-business services;
  • analyse and model organization business processes.
Career Prospects:

graduates will be able to work in software and hardware market in the spheres of program system design, programming, database design, design and implementation of internet technology, etc.
